Software and Controls Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software and Controls Engineer to join a company with a depth of experience developing solutions primarily within the Automotive & Aerospace sectors. The company has a legacy of designing and installing motion assisted data acquisition systems and revitalising and adapting older systems with contemporary equipment.

• Collaborate between the engineering teams to support existing projects progression


• Drive the development of new, cutting-edge solutions.


• Combine your software and electronic skills to build systems bigger than sum of their parts.


• Work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor you in your career progression in electronics.

About You

• Bachelor degree (minimum), including good / A Level / T Level qualifications in related subject(s) (software, control, or electronics)


• Knowledge of modern high-level programming languages


• Knowledge of modern PLC hardware/software packages (e.g. Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens etc)


• Experience of servo motor / motion control and advantage


• Ability to interpret various electrical drawings/documents e.g. I/O schedules


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
