Social Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Supervising Social Worker to join a established Fostering Agency. You will cover a caseload across Cumbria and be expected to attend the office once a week which is in Carlisle

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a reflective and creative approach in your interactions with foster carers and young individuals, igniting their potential to the fullest.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of typically 13 fostering families, offering necessary support and guidance while fostering their skill development.
• Show a steadfast commitment to delivering comprehensive support to our foster carers by participating in an after-hours on-call service.
• Display a passionate dedication to actively contributing to the growth and evolution of the Fostering service.

Experience Needed

• A professional qualification in Social Work.
• Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Demonstrate the ability to identify the unique needs of young individuals and provide evidence of this capability.
• Conduct impartial and professional assessments of children and young people.
• Have access to a car and maintain a valid driver's license.
