Main Duties:
Providing reflective supervision and support to social workers and social work assistantsManaging and prioritising allocations based on risk, need and urgency.Support workers to produce strengths-based assessments that are reflective of the individual and their situation.Work in partnership with health colleagues and other professionals to ensure individuals are not delayed in being discharged.Managing the flow through all discharge services.Managing and supporting a team and be able to address HR issues.Supporting colleagues within a multidisciplinary service.Problem Solving and managing Complex Cases and Risk ManagementComplete audits to ensure team and individual quality assurance.
Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:
Degree or equivalent in social workCurrent Social Work England registrationRecent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.Significant frontline experience in AdultsServices
