Social Value & Marketing Manager
�40K - �60K + Benefits
Permanent Role

We are working with a leading Social Housing / Regeneration contractor to recruit a proactive Social Value & Marketing Manager to manage the delivery of social value commitments & be responsible for the business's corporate image.

All projects are part of long-term partnerships with Local Authorities and Housing Association clients, including internal, external refurbishment projects, decarbonisation and estate regeneration.

This is a hybrid role, predominantly you will be based in our head office in Bedfordshire, but you will also be required to visit sites within London and the Home Counties. Reporting directly into Directors and working alongside senior managers.

As a Social Value and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Engagement with Clients, Project teams, Residents and Stakeholders to manage and implement social value programmes, environmental initiatives, and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain network of external stakeholders and community partners including charities, training providers, residents, and industry organisations.
  • Represent the company at community, industry and networking events, to include resident engagement, job fairs, charity events and exhibitions.
  • Monitoring and managing the company's external image and raise the profile of the business through successful digital marketing campaigns and social media activity.
  • Maintain client and consultant relationships and promote new services, provide assistance and ensuring we are kept in mind for future opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and report on opportunities to maintain current relationships and build new relationships.
  • Manage and develop the company's charity programme including liaising with charity partners and organising internal fundraising events, such as coffee mornings, quiz nights etc.
  • Actively promote the company's visions and values both externally and internally to ensure buy in and support staff morale.
  • Manage corporate branding and company literature to promote the company's image.
  • Supporting apprentices, workplace schemes and training in line with the company's commitment, including liaising with relevant stakeholders.

Social Value and Marketing Manager Experience:

You are a self-motivated person who has an interest in the construction industry, you will also have the following:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with various colleagues of different levels and roles across the business.
  • Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft excel, word, power point and desktop publishing software such as Microsoft Publisher / In-Design.
  • The ability to take instruction and effectively carry out tasks both independently and within a team.
  • Aspirations to continuously be innovative, learn and develop in the role and company.
  • Social, outgoing personality with excellent public speaking skills
  • Being able to priorities their time to ensure deadlines are met.
  • High level of literacy including written communication.
  • Have previous experience in digital marketing.
  • Have previous experience in corporate social responsibility.
  • Have good knowledge of current web technologies and social media.
  • Working knowledge of apprenticeships.
  • Be flexible regards working hours evenings and weekends.
  • A full valid UK driving license

Social Value and Marketing Manager Salary and Benefits:

You will be working for a modern, forward-thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the group's success. This is a full-time, permanent role for which you will receive up to �60K per annum + Benefits.
