Social Value Manager

Social Value professionals, here is a great opportunity to work in a newly created role to set up, manage and be the making of a business investing in their communities and social value activity.About the Company and Opportunity:BCUK are working with a specialist main contractor who have extensive experience of working within the healthcare sector. Due to an expansion to their team, we are looking for a Social Value professional to work across all projects. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, you will plan, promote, deliver, and report on all social sustainability, education, and community development. A lot of this role will involve supporting the bid teams and developing industry-leading social value responses in preconstruction activities.Details of the Job Opportunity- please see some of the main duties below:Developing social value plans and working with all stakeholders.Client meetings to discuss what you can deliver and gather requirements of the client.Collating and inputting social value data into the internal reporting tool.Producing monthly reports and management reports.Supporting local projects and creating new initiatives.Working with communication teams, promoting projects, and having a voice.Establishing links with education establishments and training providers.Assisting with bids and tenders, attending pre and post tender meetings.What we're looking for:Experience in delivering social value projects, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating outcomes.Highly competent in MS SuitePreferably from a construction organisationStrong interpersonal skills.Ability to travel across the UK on occasion to visit projects.The PackageWe can offer a competitive salary and package with potential discretionary bonus.Early finishes of a FridayCompany pensionDiscounted gym membershipOption for private healthcareService AwardsAccess to training and career advancement.
