Social Value & Marketing Manager£40K - £60K + Benefits Permanent RoleHere at Howells we are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a Social Value Manager to join their team in the South.As a Social Value Manager you will coordinate the delivery of social value contractual commitments & support the business's corporate social responsibility objectives by using innovative approaches to support the communities in they work.This is a standalone position where you will be required to work autonomously, making a real difference to communities. You must have experience using the Social Value Portal for this position.Key Responsibilities:Maintain network of external stakeholders and community partners including training providers, residents and public sectorEnsure delivery on social value commitments as outlined in the contract to meet required deadlines and qualityComplete case studies, social media and production of newsletters to communicate activities with the business and externallyResponsibility for apprentice training programme including recruitment, supporting supervisors with collating feedback and completing performance reviews and liaising with learning provider.Lead point of contact for schools, colleges and other provisions for coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings, mock interviews, site visits, and mentoringDeliver commitments, such as job clubs, energy awareness sessions with residents, liaising with relevant external contacts to capture evidence dataCoordinate resident training days, to attract and inviteBe able to use data and local insight and knowledge to develop targeted programmes to support issues relating to communities- such as poverty, ASB, capacity building, low educational attainmentQualifications, experience & skills required:Previous experience in CSR/community regeneration activityMust have experience in creating environmental programmes that are engaging for residents and which address environmental concerns.Experience of giving employability support to customersExperience of delivering digital inclusion training in the community - essentialMentoring experience of young people- desirableWorking knowledge of ApprenticeshipsKnowledge of safeguardingAn Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.If you are interested in this role please apply online or call Dave on (phone number removed)
