Job Description

Are you a talented and ambitious Social Media Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation? Our client, a leading international business school, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Social Media Manager. This permanent position is based at their campus in Reading, offering a competitive salary (£33,500 to £40,000 per year) and a range of attractive benefits.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing our client's social media content plan across multiple platforms, with a particular focus on LinkedIn. Your duties will include developing engaging copy, creating multimedia assets, scheduling and tracking posts, managing community engagement, and analysing data and insights using tools such as Hootsuite.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the social media content plan, aligning with our client's brand strategy
Create persuasive copy, schedule posts, and handle engagement to drive community engagement
Collaborate with marketing managers to develop and manage paid digital marketing campaigns
Analyse data and derive insights to optimise performance and report findings to internal stakeholders
Benchmark digital marketing activity against competitors and report on industry trends
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and quality standards
Collaborate with the digital development and design units within the organisation
Represent the business school on relevant university committees as requiredSkills and Qualifications:

Proven experience managing social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
Strong ability to develop engaging and persuasive content that aligns with the brand
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and search engine optimisation principles
Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
Proficiency in data analysis and report production
