Job Title: Social Media Content Creator
Job Summary:
We are searching for a talented and dynamic Social Media Content Creator to join our team and lead the production of engaging video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging social media channels. As a Social Media Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for ideating, filming, editing, and optimizing short-form video content that resonates with our target audience, drives engagement, and builds brand awareness. This role requires creativity, a strong understanding of social media trends, and the ability to adapt content strategies to various platforms' unique audiences and algorithms.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to develop video content strategies tailored to each platform's audience, trends, and features.
Ideate and storyboard creative concepts for short-form video content that aligns with brand identity, values, and marketing objectives.
Film and produce high-quality, engaging video content optimized for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, and Snapchat.
Edit and enhance video content using mobile editing apps (e.g., Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot) or desktop software to create visually appealing and attention-grabbing videos.
Experiment with different video formats, trends, music, effects, and editing techniques to maximize audience engagement and virality.
Stay updated on social media trends, memes, challenges, and algorithm changes to inform content creation strategies and maintain relevance.
Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, or user-generated content (UGC) to amplify reach and engagement.
Optimize video content for each platform's specifications, including aspect ratios, video lengths, captions, hashtags, and interactive features.
Analyze performance metrics, such as views, likes, shares, comments, and click-through rates, to evaluate content effectiveness and refine strategies.
Monitor and respond to audience feedback, comments, and trends to foster community engagement and brand loyalty.
Demonstrated proficiency in time management and meticulous pre-planning within a Social Media Video Content Creator, Digital Content Creator, or similar role.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Social Media Video Content Creator, Digital Content Creator, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video content for social media platforms.
Proficiency in video filming, editing, and production techniques, with experience using mobile editing apps and/or desktop software.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices for content optimization and virality.
Creative thinking and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to create compelling narratives and visual content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities and trends.
Knowledge of analytics tools and metrics for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights) to track performance and inform content strategies.
Passion for social media, digital content creation, and staying abreast of emerging trends, memes, and cultural moments.
Bachelor’s degree in digital media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with graphic design, motion graphics, or animation is a plus.
