We are looking for a Social Media Manager to conduct and assist with content creation and management across our diverse social media platforms.SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGERWith Hybrid and flexible working offeredBased in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content agency and media network who are currently on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to join our Entertainment team on a fixed term basis.TheSocial Media Managerplays a central role in producing, engaging, and entertaining video and digital content.This includes day-to-day tasks such as:Conducting the publication of content posts across multiple social media channels;Assisting with content creation;Managing the community and maintaining close communication across both the internal distribution team and external client.The role is expected to lead best practice in terms of all aspects of social engagement and community management across our social platforms YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.The Social Media Manager also contextualises performance with internal reports and is in regular communication with clients, working with the Partnerships Manager to support the department’s wider strategic goals.Please note that while we welcome applications from all, this isnot a marketing role.As a Great Places to Work certified workplace, we believe in a working environment where people can flourish, develop and reach their full potential. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME Owning the social media strategy and schedulingEnsuring that each channel maintains thehighest editorial standards across posts and meta-data with a strong and consistent voiceManaging a team of content editorsContextualising analytics and insights to inform best practiceManaging the day-to-day client relationship, delivering to expectationsSupporting the Partnerships Manager to achieve strategic goalsWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDSkills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.Demonstrable experience producing social media content and managing social communitiesfor a brand or publisher in an agency environmentStrong knowledge of the diverse approaches in using video across social mediaplatforms, ie. scheduling and experience with insights / platform analyticsPrevious experience of managing team members, whether direct reports or for day-to-daytasksPrevious experience of communicating directly with clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive attitude(Although this is not an editing role), knowledge of the Adobe suite is especially useful in understanding the and assisting the teamTHE PERKS OF THE JOBEmployee wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
