The Social Media Manager, EMEA, is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality industry content through social channels to optimise followers, exposure, education and ultimately create lead generation funnels towards our products and services on a global scale. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing Communications, you will be working on strategic placement and campaigns for growth. This role is an opportunity to engage with some of the most experienced and insightful experts in the financial field and share their insights of thought-leadership and joining what would attract new business leads with the content dynamics needed. By expanding our reach thoroughly into the social area field (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc), the position will support our endeavour to be a global authority on the markets.
Responsibilities
• Create content related to industry-level interests.
• Synthesize long-form and/or complicated market research for different social platforms.
• Work alongside your Social Media Manager peers in the USA and APAC regions to develop macro content.
• Work alongside team members that make up the global social media team: Head of Content, Head of Copy, Head of Commentary, ORM and HR Social Media.
• Monitor and analyse trends in social handles to better optimize for engagement and follower growth yearly targets and work with the Media team to place our monthly budget for follower acquisition on each platform with targets.
• Ensure content leverages internal tools and content to support market participants' development utilizing StoneX resources (Marketing Intelligence, Fintech product lines etc.) with an emphasis on all areas of the business: Commercial, Institutional, Payments and Retail.
• Consolidate data and findings every month for a global report 1-page slide that is shared across the business units in a Showreel.
• Develop and manage social media content calendar, ensuring timely, relevant posts with months ahead evergreen and prioritizing topical.
• Develop and disseminate social media content from multiple internal and external sources as well as delegate and manage the social media team including other Executives and Specialists
• Use social media management tools such as Sprout Social for data.
• Liaise with AEs, brokers/traders to develop new social media programs.
• Incorporate SEO best practices across social platforms.
• Stay up to date with social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field required.
• Financial writing and solid knowledge of the industry required
• Etensive years developing content
• Understanding of social media either for an agency or company.
• Excellent knowledge of social media channels and KPIs
• Experience creating and managing multiple social media content calendars.
• Experience creating and executing social media campaigns.
• Understanding of social media analytics, measurement, and reporting
• Must be highly detailed and pay special attention to delivering error-free work.
• Outstanding multitasking, time-management, and communications skills
• Critical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Great communicator and team player
• Practical knowledge of PPC, SEO and web traffic metrics
• Ability to identify areas of weakness or potential problems and quickly implement problem-solving strategies to rectify the situation.
• Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyse results to determine key findings.
• Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer.
• Must be able to work at the office in London, UK based on company policy
