As a Social Media Manager, your day-to-day tasks will include managing and executing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, developing and implementing social media strategies, optimizing social media platforms, and writing compelling copy.Black Tech Fest - Social Media ManagerDo you have a passion for amplifying Black voices in tech and inspiring the next generation of innovators?Are you a social media whiz who can craft engaging content and build a thriving online community? BTF is a leading organization dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our social media strategy,showcasing the incredible work of Black professionals in tech, and driving awareness for our events.Responsibilities:* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)* Create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience (Black professionals in tech, aspiring tech minds, and allies)* Manage and grow our social media following across all platforms* Schedule and publish regular social media posts* Monitor social media trends and conversations relevant to Black professionals in tech* Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote BTF events, initiatives, and partnerships* Analyze social media data and reporting to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement* Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and tools* Collaborate with the BTF team to develop and promote content across other platformsQualifications:* 2-3 years of experience in social media management* Proven experience developing and implementing successful social media campaigns* Strong understanding of social media best practices and analytics* Excellent content creation skills (writing, graphic design, video editing)* Experience working in the tech industry (a plus)* Passion for diversity and inclusion in tech* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:* The opportunity to make a real impact in the tech industry* A dynamic and supportive work environment* Competitive salary and benefits package* Be part of a mission-driven organization that is changing the face of techBonus Points:* Experience with social media advertising* Knowledge of the Black tech communityWe are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
