Nequinox Studios is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our friendly, inclusive, and exciting studio. As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all major social media platforms, a proven track record of managing social media accounts, and a genuine passion for gaming and the games industry.Role Overview:As Social Media Manager, you will be tasked with amplifying our studio's online presence and engagement across all popular and relevant social media platforms. This role involves creating compelling content to highlight games we have worked on, celebrating achievements, and interacting with our audience to grow our brand's visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and genuinely passionate about gaming, using their expertise to foster community engagement and promote our projects and achievements to a wider audience.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement a cohesive social media strategy across all platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, X (Formally Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok) to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts.Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to engage the existing community and attract new followers.Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales.Capitalise on global events and media trends in a timely and effective manner, to take advantage of opportunities to develop social media engagement and brand awareness.Conduct online advocacy and open streams for cross-promotions.Develop and expand community outreach efforts and influencer relationships.Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed as well as reporting on our social media analytics against KPIs and recommend areas of improvement.Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.Actively play games that Nequinox have been a part of developing and use platforms like Twitch and YouTube to showcase gameplay, providing insights and promoting our games to a wider audience.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.Strong attention to detail.Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools.Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.Fluency in English.A passion for gaming is a must.DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience in playing games and showcasing gameplay on Twitch or YouTube is a significant bonus.Knowledge of CRO and SEO.Part-time (22hrs per week – exact number and days are negotiable)Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience.Remote, Hybrid and Office working is available.Nequinox is a family studio.
