We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Coordinator!
Role Overview
As Social Media Coordinator, you will support in the implementation of the organic
social strategy across YouTube and grow the channels social presence through
innovative, edutaining content, to drive reach and engagement on the channel. You
will be a complete expert in the world of YouTube and constantly on the pulse with
trends and platform updates to put Space NK at the forefront. You will report into
the Social Media Manager and work closely with the wider Marketing team to deliver
out of this world 360 campaigns fit for social on YouTube. The Social Media
Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management and
execution of YouTube planning. Through the art of SEO & community, you'll harness
the power of YouTube and turn it into a powerhouse of passion, a place our
community will come together to be inspired and educated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to implement the social media strategy across YouTube.
- Stay up to date with all social trends across YouTube & all platform updates to
adhere to best practices.
- Responsible for day-to-day content planning, execution & publishing of
content on YouTube, optimising all content for best practice SEO to deliver a
wealth of education in the most engaging way possible to attract audiences &
develop ways to engage with our community.
- Produce new and exciting content ideas for both YouTube & YouTube Shorts,
based off search volume to ensure channel is discoverable to drive maximum
reach.
- Work closely with the Video Editor to produce compelling innovative YouTube
content fit for purpose.
- Collaborate with the Video Editor to develop concepts & storyboards that
effectively solve user search queries whilst ensuring content is full of creative
flair, innovation & storytelling.
- Manage end to end process of all YouTube productions, and work with wider
team to brief & arrange talent for onscreen content, including briefs, product
samples and prop coordination.
- Responsible for disruptive, original content ideation & storytelling to bring
moments to life on YouTube that engage our community.
- Responsible for YouTube content brief management, from start to end,
including Influencers, Founders, & Creatives.
- Responsible for scheduling YouTube content & publishing to platform.
- Attend Space NK events and stores regularly to create engaging content with
founders or creators fit for purpose.
- Work with social coordinators responsible for IG & TT to create innovative &
exciting content that supports longform YouTube content.
- Responsible for execution of bringing brand campaigns to life across our
YouTube channel in the most engaging way possible.
- Work with wider marketing teams to ensure smooth flow of content plans to
support new product & brand launches.
- Work with wider buying teams to keep on top of new product launches,
ensuring any changes are communicated with the rest of the social team.
- Work with community co-ordinator to nurture our community on YouTube to
deliver personalised experiences and drive two way conversations.
- Work with community coordinator to inject community content throughout
activations to ensure moments of connection are present.
- Evaluate performance across YouTube weekly, reporting on key metrics to
provide actionable insight for content improvement.
- Presenting reports to marketing teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring the
wider business understand how social objectives fit with wider business goals.
- Day to day budget management for content creation spend on YouTube.
- Conducting regular content & competitor audits, sharing thoughts and
opportunities with the social media team.
Key Skills and Experience:
2+ years of experience within the social media industry. Experience in driving growth and engagement across social media platforms. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, content creators,
emerging platforms, and best practices. Passion for the beauty industry. Strong content creation skills, including filming and video editing. Confident and comfortable on camera with the ability to create reactive
content quickly. Strong copywriting skills. Strong analytical skills and track record of collating data to compile reports to
circulate to wider business. Track record of delivering scroll-stopping social first campaigns Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, reactive
environment. High attention to detail. Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills. Some experience managing people. A problem-solving approach. Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident ability to communicate and
influence effectively. The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure. A proactive and flexible approach with an ability to present new ideas. Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
