We have an opportunity for a Social Care Support Advisor to join a local charity in the Worthing area, where you'll be offering payment and support advice to existing customers over the telephone. You'll have previous experience in a Social Care / Caring environment and a good knowledge of the social model in disability.
You'll also have some understanding of child and adult protection issues and the ability to work within safeguarding protocols.
As a Social Care Support Advisor your role will include:
Ideally, you'll have previous experience and knowledge of providing support within a health and social care services environment or personal care, dealings with Direct Payment users and supporting PA employment requirements. Great communication skills both written and verbally and good knowledge of MS Office, such as Excel and Word.
This role working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on an hourly rate of �12 an hour. This role is fully office based in Worthing.
