We are looking for an excellent data manager who will be proactive, innovative and responsive in taking the lead for our approach with data management and analysis. Social care analysis will be overseen by the Head of SCG which will work closely with the role. Your role will be to enable to most business effective and efficient systems to support our national approach.
The Social Care Governance Data Manager will oversee and lead on important elements of our Social Care Governance (SCG) processes. You will manage a small team that maintains and develops information management systems to support our central oversight approach. The team works within our Social care governance and Information governance processes which has been established for over 7 years and you will take over an established and well run team within the Quality Department.
A key element of the role is ensure new quality software is developed and implemented helping with localised quality data oversight, recording all audits, training, meetings and quality actions. This software will also provide a Social Care Governance resource to management of incidents communication across our 500 sites in England.
We have an established duty desk system that runs 24/7 from our Head Office in Stockport. You will maintain and continue to develop a database and tools to assist the smooth running of this essential service.
Other responsibilities will be:
To ensure relevant polices are in place, ensuring we are GDPR complaint, using the safest most effective IT systems and practices.
To support efficient processes to aid the Quality team work
To ensure daily upkeep of IT systems relevant to the role
To offer an online and phone support helpdesk type service through your team
To attend relevant strategic meetings and bring prepared reports of relevance to these meetings
To enable excellent information management systems that meet the needs of our diverse services at the request to senior management and the senior leadership team in the Quality department.
To work closely with our IT department, Online Systems team and their leads on data across departments to ensure an excellent service is provided to front line services.
