Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Social Care Assessor in Adult Services, with Enfield Council.

The Social Care Assessor will be responsible for using assessment, judgement and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance.

Main Responsibilities

As a Social Care Assessor, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments of adults at risk
Working with a diverse range of agencies and teams across the Borough
Using assessment, judgement and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance
Providing quality services that promote principles of empowerment to support adults at risk, their carers and advocates to achieve their outcomes
Using knowledge of safeguarding procedures, current legislation and government initiatives to inform practice

Requirements:

Good understanding of the Care Act (#####) and the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good IT skills
Enhanced DBS
