Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Social Care Assessor in Adult Services, with Enfield Council.

The Social Care Assessor will be responsible for using assessment, judgement and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance.

Main Responsibilities

As a Social Care Assessor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting assessments of adults at risk
• Working with a diverse range of agencies and teams across the Borough
• Using assessment, judgement and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance
• Providing quality services that promote principles of empowerment to support adults at risk, their carers and advocates to achieve their outcomes
• Using knowledge of safeguarding procedures, current legislation and government initiatives to inform practice

Requirements:

• Good understanding of the Care Act (#####) and the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good IT skills
• Enhanced DBS
