The successful candidate will be capable of assessing the impacts on the design integration of the complete EDU and ensure designs are compatible with all stakeholder requirements.

This opportunity supports the assembly of the whole unit and how it interacts with other components to be a complete drive unit to not only meet but supersede customer expectations on vehicle performance during the vehicles lifecycle. In support of this you'll resolve issues with component engineering and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet targets and ensure that all appropriate customer standards are met throughout design maturation.

You will also provide input into new feature development and ensure all programme design solutions are met along with ensuring that there is design compatibility between all components. You'll also have the opportunity to ensure that the design has the capacity to achieve the target attributes and that component design change requests are compatible with the assembly process

This opportunity is best suited to someone with knowledge of the sub systems of an EDU and who has experience of managing the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.

We are searching for someone with experience of working with internal and external partners and who has the ability to deal with multiple inputs and arbitrate between the requests and the deliverable outputs.

Whilst not essential it is highly desirable to have a good working knowledge of product creation and delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes and be degree qualified in a relatable field.
