Small Engine Mechanic

2020 Recruitment are working with a Kirkcaldy based client who are looking for a Small Engine Mechanic to join their team on a permanent contract.

As the Small Engine Mechanic you will be responsible for the repaid and service of various small engine machinery.

The Role

The Small Engine Mechanic will be servicing and repairing all types of garden machinery, ie Blowers, Lawnmowers, garden tractors, Zero turn mowers, chainsaws, strimmers and small construction tools.

Duties

As the Small Engine Mechanic your duties will include:

• Service and repaid of machinery


• Fault finding


• Assisting other engineers


• Ensuring company standards are met


• Assist with customers when required


• Maintaining health and safety levels on the shop floor

Requirements

To be considered for the Small Engine Mechanic you must have the following experience:

• Mechanical experience


• Previous experience working with agricultural equipment (mowers, chainsaws etc)


• Ability to diagnose and repair issues


• Understanding of all mechanical aspects of small machinery


• Own hand tools

Package

As the Small Engine Mechanic you will be offered the following:

• Permanent contract


• Hourly rate of �14ph


• 40 hours per week minimum
