VETERINARY SURGEON- Swindon, WiltshireCandidate requirementsHave a university bachelor’s degree in veterinary science, medicine, or surgery from one of the EAEVE approved universities. Established in#####6 to provide the highest standard of care to the public within the constraints of affordability and primary care.• Operating from 3 independent sites• New gold standard cat only clinic at main site• Facilities at main clinic allow cases to be dealt with in house with little need for referral• Supportive efficient management teams at each clinic• 36 staff members with nursing team of 16• Teaching practice offering good caring support• Open supportive culture with emphasis on CPD and work life balanceJOB ROLE• veterinary surgeon able to cope with medical and surgical cases.• Freedom to define your own position within the clinic ideally with a special interest.REQUIREMENTS• Quality of experience more important than quantity but would expect suitable candidate to have a few years’ experience in practice.• Further qualifications desirable but not essential.• Medical and surgical veterinary surgeon• Ability to coach others in the veterinary team.The details• 4 day week 9am till 6:30pm plus one in four Saturdays 9-12am• Additional 1 in 4 rota for hospitalised patient care.• Emergency work taken by Vets Now.• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays• CPD budget• Starting salary: £50,000 - 65,000, annual reviews• Private health careSwindon is a large and young working town with good schools and amenities.
