Island VetsWe are a wonderful central midlands-based location, so we are easy reach from all of the major cities, we have Cannock Chase on our doorstep which is a brilliant natural landmark for hiking, mountain biking or just exercising the dogs. Within this role you may be asked to work on our branches in Stone and Bloxwich.We are looking to become a referral practice and currently have a team of 7 full-time members of staff, with 2 certificate holders and 2 more members of staff doing certificates. We have a newly refurbished premises, so the working conditions are brilliant with a fantastic team of nurses and support staff. We encourage excellent work life balance whilst also believing the pets welfare comes first. Our practice facilities include Digital Imaging, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, Arthroscopy, Complex Orthopaedic Equipment, and in-house Lab and a Separate Dental Theatre. Step into a supportive start Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you may also be required to participate in a weekend rota and/or an out of hour.We are very used to training and allowing our graduates to grow and become a valued member of our team, a fantastic example being that 1 of our certificate holders started with us as a new graduate.We Are IVC EvidensiaWe are committed to supporting you in shaping your journey to reach your potential, whatever your career aims.
