Site Supervisor

Building Careers are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in joinery to join a leading multi-sector Fit-out contractor based in Chorley. As a Site Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of joinery work on small works Fit-out projects. From managing resources and schedules to ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.

Our client is a reputable Fit-out contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. With a focus on excellence and innovation, they pride themselves on their commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate joinery activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Supervise small work projects ranging for 50-100k in value.
• Lead a team of joiners, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supply and maintenance to support seamless operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds client expectations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry, with a focus on joinery work.
• Strong background in joinery, with comprehensive knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
