What you will be doing Sample delivery The Sample Management Team deliver samples to business teams within London, in a structured process whenever possible. The main areas follow:
From Post Room to teams specified areas (door-to-desk). Samples received into the Post Room from any source are to be unpacked to receiving team specification and delivered within 3 hours. From Retail teams to Production. Daily pick-up and delivery of items to be shot in Production within specified times. From Holding Bay to Retail teams. Any post-production samples required by teams are to be delivered by 1200 the day after their last day of aging (typically 3 days, but immediate for Outlet).
Sample routing The Sample Management Team manages and operates the Holding Bay. The Holding Bay receives all samples shot by Production and then routes them as specified by the Retail Team after a specified period during which the items can be shopped for use. To facilitate the routing of product, each sample needs to be scanned in and organised by product type (Menswear/Womenswear; Brand/Design/Outlet) and onward destination (Sample Sale, Warehouse, Back to Team, Held for specified period before routing to Sample Sale, etc.). Sample Sale The sample management team also operates the sample sale, which is an internal shop available to all employees within the business. Basic duties include hanging and replenishing stock when levels are low, operating the tills and providing good customer service. Please note that you will be required to be cross trained in all contracted functions such as Postroom services as well as our sample management services.
