Site Services Engineer

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in York.

This client are a a fast paced Production facility looking for a contract - Site Services Engineer�

The Person:

• Relevant�Level 3 Engineering qualification or recognised, standards-based time served apprenticeship.


• Relevant experience within a�fast-paced manufacturing environment�and�Site Services Role


• Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills


• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office family of products


• Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.


• Asset management knowledge

The Role:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.


• Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.


• Process Capability: Establish capability of all site services processes and follow statistical process controls to monitor and ensure processes are stable and deliver products that meet customer specifications.


• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing 8 Step Practical Problem Solving or other appropriate KPS methodologies within the site maintenance team.


• Communication: Liaise with Engineering colleagues on a regular basis to communicate equipment status, performance against the required schedule.


• Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.


• Document Standard Work & Standard Confirmation: Ensure documents are up to date and that reflect the preventive maintenance (legionella, daily checks, site compliance)

This role is working Monday to Friday - Days���

The pay rate is �35.00ph�dependant on skills and experience.
