Site Operative

A market leading specialist engineering organisation are currently recruiting for a Site Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
The primary focus of this role is to conduct installation / maintenance and repair tasks across customer sites in the UK but predominantly the South East. You will initially be shadowing Engineers as part of your training programme but, a full UK driving licence will be required as you will be travelling to site on your own upon completion of training.
Key responsibilities include;
Tank Cleaning
Chemical handling
Fibre Glassing
Paint application
Welding / Pipework
General use of machinery (drilling, steel cutting, power tools)
Mechanical Assembly
To be considered for this position you will hold a valid CSCS card and hold a construction / engineering related qualification.
This role is predominantly field based with the occasional need to stay away overnight (full expenses paid)
The position is Monday
Friday with overtime paid at an enhanced rate with a comprehensive benefits package including pension, 33 days holiday, private health care and other benefits.
