Site manager

I am working alongside a leading regional civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver an earthworks and civils package being delivered for a valued client in Somerset. The project is due to run through to mid 2025. My client is looking to onboard a site manager who will be boots on the ground as a pose to office based.

Site manager responsibilities:�

• Pushing the team on site.


• Ensuring health and safety compliance.


• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed method and methodology.�


• Checking quality.�


• Checking levels.


• Completing daily checks sheets.


• Completing daily diaries.


• Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site.

Site manager requirements:�

• Right to work in the UK.


• CSCS Card - Gold or Black.


• SMSTS.


• First aid.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Previous experience with bulk earthworks or earthworks or reinstatement projects.�


• Previous civils experience (Infrastructure/ highways).�


• IT literate.�


• Strong communication skills.
