Site Manager

Out client, a regional main contractor, are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 10-refurbishment program in Workington.

The role will involve the refurbishment of a health centre and will require experience working in live environments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all activities related to the refurbishment project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.


• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.


• Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and accountability among the project team.


• Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• SMSTS


• 3-day 1st Aid


• CSCS card


• Extension and refurbishment experience


• Good technical knowledge


• Strong background in health and safety management, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and best practices


• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project goals


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
