Site Manager – BirminghamOur client, an International leader in the Energy industry, are now looking for a Site Manager with Mechanical Installation experience gained within the power generation industry for work based on an EfW plant in Birmingham.About the role:You will deliver site activities and support the Project team to deliver the package of works including Turbines and BoP/piping installation. You will have sectional/partial accountability for successful project delivery including - initiation, planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out.Duties will include but are not limited to:You will be a change agent that provides management, leadership and inspires a multi-disciplinary team to achieve a common goal.You will determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives, and constraints - time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits.You will safely and sustainably deliver the construction works.You will manage site resource to deliver the construction activity.You will ensure works are delivered compliantly.You will produce required records in a timely manner.You will effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work.You will support/Assist the Project manager/Project Director to deliver the project.You will prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.You will implement technical information and drawings into delivery.You will ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm & keep updated with changes in legislation.You will write RAMS and accept subcontractor RAMS.You will help to develop, implement, and update resource allocation plans (OBS) and raise appropriate requests.You will motivate and empower the team using the resources available through training, mentoring and performance management.You will assist the Project Manager to lead risk/opportunity reviews, present the Risk Register and recommend/implement changes.What you will need:SMSTS, NEBOSH or equivalentNVQ in Construction ManagementExperience in managing risks and change processes.Good understanding of the standard forms of contractsProficient in commercial/project management communicationsA record of a solutions-based approach to problem solvingCommunicate and check understanding of daily briefings.Experience in implementing safe systems of workThe NRL Group connect global engineering companies with the right people to bring their projects to life.
