We have a new role in Kent for you!Sector: Site ManagerLocation: KentContract type: PermanentStart date: ASAP.Salary - £45,000 + £6000 car allowanceFawkes & Reece contact: Chelsey Potter (Brighton branch) The companyA main contractor that undertakes new build, extensions and refurbishment projects between £1m and £12m across Kent and SussexThe roleReporting directly into a visiting Contracts Manager, the role of a Site Manager requires you to have knowledge of:Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the publicSupervising construction workers and hiring subcontractorsBuying materials for each phase of the projectMonitoring build costs and project progressConducting quality and safety inspectionsChecking and preparing site reports, designs and drawingsMaintaining quality control checksMotivating the workforceDay to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that ariseUsing specialist project management computer programmesWorking on-site in all weathers, at client's businesses or in a site office. About youThe successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills.
