We've an exciting opportunity for an Site Manager, with previous experience of steel frame apartments, to support a Project Manager on a new build apartment scheme in Bolton.About the ClientOur client is a prominent property development company specialising in creating exceptional living spaces that elevate communities. They work with housing providers, registered providers and councils throughout Greater Manchester & the wider north west, to help redevelop communities in the region.Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a talented Site Manager to join an exciting new project in Bolton. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee the construction of two steel-frame, piled blocks of apartments totalling 135 units. Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day site operations to ensure adherence to project time-lines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain efficient work-flow and productivity.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement construction schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and safety records.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and problem-solving among project stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, environmental regulations, and building codes.QualificationsProven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing residential or commercial projects from start to finish.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid, as minimum.
