Clancy have arrived in the South-West and we have some excitingopportunities for you to join us in Cornwall and Devon!With over six decades of experience and an excellent reputation, we have been chosen to support South West Water (SWW), to deliver an excitingprogramme of works, aimed at strengthening and future-proofing the waterand wastewater networks across the region.We can offer longevity, stability and excellent support, whilst you work onsome of the most innovative civil engineering projects in some of the mostpicturesque locations in the UK.The RoleAs Site Manager, you will manage one heavy civils project at a time, tacklingsignificant challenges, such as reducing the use of storm overflows and strengthening water resilience. Projects range in value from £500k to £40m and 3 months to 3+ years.Here are some of the activities that you'll get involved in...Ensure all work complies with health, safety and environmentallegislation, CDM and NRSWA specificationsHighlight non-conformities, escalating when requiredLead and manage your team and ensure they receive high qualitytraining and mentoring, that supports their development, setting them up for success and enabling them to make their best contributionPromote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideasProactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventablemistakesTake ownership and oversee all temporary worksDeal with variations and valuations (submissions & settlement)We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...A good all-round technical knowledge of the construction & water industry isessential, along with a NRSWA accreditation and full UK driving licence.Experience of either, deep excavation, pipeline or infiltration projects wouldbe highly advantageous.Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety practices.A good understanding of client quality specifications.If this is sounds like you and you're ready for a new and exciting challenge - don't delay - apply today!Our CompanyEvery day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.Our purpose at Clancy is simple - we make life better for everyone’s growing families.
