People who enjoy finding new ways to solve problems and get things done!We have an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager (ironworks) to join our innovative alliance with Anglian Water (Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance).IMR WRA provide the best water recycling, by maintaining existing assets and undertaking new projects, that safeguard future water recycling asset health. Within the Alliance’s remit is planned and emergency sewer works, rising mains and SMART technology installation, as well as maintenance and repair.The RoleYou will be accountable for managing the manhole, cover and frame (MHCF) parcel, that focuses on manholes in the highway.You’ll be responsible for ensuring Anglian Water’s apparatus are repaired or replaced safely and that productivity and performance levels can be monitored and reported.Working with alliance partners and colleagues, you will support the delivery of industry leading design standards and help develop effective processes that drive value and satisfaction for customers.Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved with…Ensure operations are carried out efficiently, compliantly and safely in line with water recycling and environmental protection standards.Establish great relationships with local highway authorities and other utility providers, to enable collaboration that reduces traffic management costsEffectively challenge Section 81 coversUnderstand the requirements of Area Managers and work with them, to ensure teams are safely and effectively utilised.Conduct site visits and assist the Enabling teamKeep up to date with new products and technologies relating to ironworks in the highway and understand how this impacts value for the whole job as well as the cost of materialsWe’d love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…• Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, in particular the application of CDM Regulations• An understanding of NRSWA (section 81) and the process of safely replacing manhole covers in a street and residential properties• Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to constructively challenge.Our CompanyEvery day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations.Our purpose at Clancy is simple - we make life better for everyone’s growing families.
