Site Manager

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a 5 star national house builder who build across the South Coast, mainly Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex areas. They have a great land bank meaning stability and have a few new sites scheduled for across 2024 and 2025. They have a growing reputation in the market and are now seeking an experienced site manager to join the team on a permanent basis. They are based within Hampshire, and this particular site is located near the Portsmouth region. This will be a brand new phase on an existing site so will be yours to manage from the start. This is to start asap ideally beginning of May 2024.You will be employed as a site manager on a permanent basis. This will be working on a new phase site from the beginning near Portsmouth, the build being traditional build both private and HA. The salary range on offer is between £60,000-£70,000 p/a + package + bonus DOE. Your day to day responsibilities include: managing trades, managing programmes, working closely with an assistant, ensuring everything is to budget, chairing internal and external meetings, completions and CML's, snagging, toolbox/induction talks and ensuring the health and safety is of high priority across the site.You must have a proven record of working successfully on large volume sites with other house developers. They are looking for somebody with a minimum of 5 years' experience, who is a strong leader, good communication skills and IT proficient. You must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid all in date to be considered for this role. You must be proactive, hardworking, a problem solver and somebody who is out on site pushing it along. They want somebody who takes pride in what they build and who wants a long term career of progression.This is to start asap so ideally May 2024 as expecting a notice period. This could be an excellent change to start something new, from the beginning, showcasing what you can build.
