We have a new role in Brighton for you!Sector: Site ManagerLocation: BrightonContract type: TemporarySalary - £60,000-68,000Fawkes & Reece contact: David Baker (Brighton branch)The companyA principal contractor that undertakes new build, extensions and refurbishment projects between £1m and £12m across Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire & London.The roleReporting directly into a visiting Contracts Manager, the role of a Site Manager requires you to have knowledge of:Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the publicSupervising construction workers and hiring subcontractorsBuying materials for each phase of the projectMonitoring build costs and project progressConducting quality and safety inspectionsChecking and preparing site reports, designs and drawingsMaintaining quality control checksMotivating the workforceDay to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that ariseWorking on-site in all weathers, at client's businesses or in a site office.About youThe successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills.
