Site Manager

A long established Manchester based Property Developer who specialise in the restoration of Historical and Listed Buildings into residential apartments, are looking to appoint a Site Manager for a large project in York consisting of apartments and some new build housing.

Reporting into a Project Manager, the Site Manager role will involve:

• Co-ordination and control of the project, including staff, labour and sub-contractors, from the construction phase through to completion and handover.
• Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
• Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
• Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary
• Ensure that adequate site records are maintained

Experience required:

• Previous experience of working on residential conversion projects is desirable
• Detailed knowledge of building regulations
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious
