Role: Site Manager (Water)

Location: Hampton (covering West London and Surrey region)

Employment type: Permanent

Salary: �50,000 - �60,000 DOE

Randstad are partnered with a leading T1 contractor within the water industry looking to bring a site manager in to their team on a permanent basis.

In this pivotal role, you'll be reporting directly to the Regional Construction Manager, overseeing and orchestrating the smooth execution of all operational activities across diverse water projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) performance, while meticulously managing both project timelines and budgets.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll be responsible for:

  • Upholding a keen sensitivity to the needs of local communities and the traveling public, ensuring minimal disruption during project execution.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to our dedicated site team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Championing cost-effective management practices, optimising the utilisation of resources to drive efficiency and value.
  • Spearheading the development, review, and maintenance of realistic project schedules, continually refining approach to meet evolving demands.
  • Overseeing the meticulous preparation, review, and updating of method statements and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You:

  • Possession of recognised qualifications in Civil Engineering or Site Management, underpinning your expertise in the field.
  • Certification in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate), demonstrating your commitment to best practices in workplace safety.
  • Valid CSCS Site Manager accreditation (minimum requirement), complemented by SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications.
  • Proven experience within the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry
