Site Manager - Refurb Residential£45,000 to £50,000 plus car allowanceCrawleyAbout:My client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Refurbishment Residential projects.Duties:- Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from start to finish- Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines- Manage project budgets and control costs- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates- Collaborate with the design team to review plans and specifications for constructability- Provide regular updates to senior management on project statusQualifications:- Holds a Fire Stopping accreditation i.e BMTRADA- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry- SMSTS and CSCS card- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
