Would you like to be involved in the projects on-site management. You like to be in contact with the different actors of a construction site but also build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
If so, KOHLER Power Systems EMEA has a great opportunity for you !Tasks :
In direct report to the Department Manager, you will work closely with the Project Managers, to whom you will report on construction sites.You will,Be the KOHLER representative on the customer site.
- Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff, Project Manager and Dpt Manager.
- Preparing/anticipate all on-site phases before components deliveries to handover (including the commisionning).
- Assessing and minimizing risk.
- Gather the technical documents for the construction site, and prepare the RAMSs (risk assessment method statement).
- Supervising installation workers and hiring subcontractors (if needed).
- Monitoring installation and subcontractors’ costs, and project progress.
- Conducting/Maintaining quality and safety inspections.
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
- Motivating the workforce.
- Finding ways to prevent problems from happening and to solve any that crop up.
- Using specialist project management and company tools.
Skills/Requirements
- Knowledge of Gensets, there installations (mechanical, electrical) and commissioning.
- Knowledge of installation methods and regulations.
- Knowledge in DC market (Customers and General contractors).
- Excellent time management and leadership skills.
- Verbal communication skills.
- Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
- Commercial awareness. Qualifications :
Equivalent experience in permanent heavy equipment construction sites, ideally a successful experience with data center customers.
- A minimum of 5-year experience would be required :
- Strong ability to read project plans, and knowledge in electrical and mechanical.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong flexibility – ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively within a team-oriented environment.
