My client, a privately owned developer who is growing extensively in 2024 is looking to appoint a Site Manager for a new scheme of 69 units in Boston, Lincolnshire. The scheme will consist of 69 units, all traditional new build units, all of which are partnerships.This would be an ideal role for a SM looking to move away from a PLC or an experienced, No2 who has looked after their own phases to take on a new challenge, working for a privately run developer. Duties,No1, onsite reporting to the Contract ManagerSupporting the day to day running of the schemeProviding clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targetsWill work towards looking after more schemes for the businessManaging the day to day operation from pilling - foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead timesEnsuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programmeProviding accurate and regular reports on progress and datesControlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditureDriving through quality at every stage of the construction processEnsuring the development pass internal and external inspection processesEnsuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered toTaking responsibility for self-development and the development of othersMonitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractorsLABC inspectionsEnsuring customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on siteHandovers/CMLSQualifications, Experience of working on traditional build schemes Experience of being either a SM, No2 or Experienced ASM Experience of being part of a NHBC/LABC Award winning team Working as part of a full production team CSCS, First Aid Scaffold awarenessBenefits:Competitive payFuel AllowanceHolidayHealthcareBonus structureCompany car/car allowance can be discussedRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
