This joining of forces enabled Primerdesign to accelerate their growth plans and kick-started an exciting new chapter for the company, leading to even better products and an even bigger, better team to support you.About the role:We are recruiting for a full-time and permanent Site Head for Primerdesign based at Eastleigh, Hampshire.The Site Head will oversee all operations at our PCR Kit Development and Manufacturing site catering to the RUO market. This role entails leading manufacturing, procurement, supply chain management, health and safety compliance, and facilities management activities. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, NPI projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.Key areas of responsibility: Lead and manage all aspects of site operations, including manufacturing, procurement, supply chain management, health and safety compliance, and facilities management. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of PCR kits to customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive NPI projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance metrics and drive operational excellence. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field. Proven experience in a leadership role within the medical device industry, preferably in PCR kit development and manufacturing. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives. Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
