Role Overview:

As the Civils Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to groundworks, civils, and road works for the new link road project. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the construction site, including groundworks, civils, and road works.


• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and schedules.


• Monitor progress against established milestones and proactively identify and address any issues or delays.


• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure that work meets the required standards.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.


• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.


• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civils Foreman on construction projects, with specific experience in groundworks, civils, and road works.


• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.


• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.


• Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
