NXTGEN have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading manufacturing business based near Norwich. This site based role will be the financial lead, working closely with the site leadership team to provide insight and challenge on financial performance, enabling clear and effective decision making. As Finance Business Partner you will work closely with the General Manager to understand site productivity and profitability, reviewing operational performances to understand operating and overhead costs. You will also review operational processes with a view to identifying efficiencies to the manufacturing process that may lead to better cost control and/or increased site productivity. As Site Finance Business Partner, you will also work closely with the Group Head of Finance to provide regular updates and reports on site financial performance to demanding group deadlines. Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Lead the local finance team in the delivery of MI reports for key stakeholders at site and group
  • Lead on site financial forecasting and budgeting processes, understanding performance opportunities before constructively challenging financial objectives
  • Review operational costs and spend to provide greater insight on labour, materials and productivity
  • Work closely with the site General Manager to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Ownership for month end account submissions into group, working closely with the head office on any financial queries
  • Accurately maintain stock reports and ensure operational teams are accurately recording stock levels

The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with excellent business partnering skills. You will ideally have prior experience working within the Manufacturing or FMCG sector and will be confident working with a range of stakeholders across both operational and commercial teams. Candidates will need to be confident presenting core financial data to senior leadership teams and will be passionate about driving strategy and the financial decision making processes. You will be confident in all aspects of Excel and will have had prior experience analysing large volumes of data. Experience using complex financial models would also be advantageous.
