Role: Site Manager (Civil Engineering Activities)
Location: Isle of Wight, United Kingdom
Rate: Up to £425 p/d - Inside IR35
Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee site engineering and surveying works at a proposed brand new Treatment facility on the Isle of Wight. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of our projects, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage and oversee all on-site activities related to engineering and surveying works.
·Coordinate with project engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
·Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Supervise site staff and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans and specifications.
·Ensure all HQSE, Budget and programme requirements are met.
·Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
·Monitor project budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to senior management.
·Liaise with local authorities and community representatives to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns.
·Prepare and present progress reports, including daily logs and site documentation.
Qualifications:
·Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in a water/wastewater treatment or similar civil engineering projects.
·Strong knowledge of site engineering and surveying practices.
·Excellent leadership and communication skills.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
·Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
·Relevant degree or professional qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
