The role

Reporting directly into an onsite Project Manager, the role of a Site Engineer requires you to have knowledge of:

• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the construction site
• Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate.
• Overseeing quality control
• Monitoring health and safety
• Keeping a site diary
• Resolving technical problems
• Working in an office and on a construction site.

About you

• A degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Experience in setting out and surveying in a construction environment is essential.
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment.
• Good knowledge of construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Physical fitness to work outdoors and handle equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate various stakeholders.
