Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a new and upcoming House Builder based in the Yorkshire region?

You will be joining a company who are dedicated to getting people onto the property ladder by providing low-cost homes throughout the North of England.

This is a very passionate and driven business, where you will be joining a tight knit team who are devoted to ensuring their customers are more than satisfied with their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the site team in the monitoring of road and sewer installations, reviewing, and recording measured and variation works in conjunction with the Technical Department.
  • Setting out and surveying as required on each allocated site, including working alongside our groundwork's teams checking and setting formation levels, while minimising excessive material waste (this will require the full use of total station etc. along with AutoCAD to produce the actual setting out information).
  • Assisting the site team in conjunction with the Technical Dept on all ground works for the sites, reviewing at site level any foundations/ plot drainage or external levels queries, with a view of further value engineering and problem solving where possible.

The ideal candidate

  • The role requires an excellent technical knowledge base including setting out skills and full use of 'total station' with "hands on" experience and ability to value engineer project as and when it is appropriate to do so.
  • Knowledge of roads sewers and substructures as well as current regulations
  • Previous experience of working with a House Builder or Contractor that works with developers (ideally in groundworks)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full UK Driving licence and own transport.
