Site Engineer

4Site recruitment are recruiting for a leading construction company currently undertaking a prestigious and confidential project involving the refurbishment of a Grade 1 listed country home. With a project duration spanning 3 to 4 years, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to work for an established company taking on an exciting project!

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in setting out and ensuring dimensional accuracy throughout the build process
• Coordinate Temporary Works effectively, demonstrating clear understanding of design parameters and implementation across the project
• Manage RC frame construction and basement formation works with proficiency
• Oversee drainage construction and deep chamber works, ensuring adherence to project specifications
• Manage water during basement formation works with clarity and precision
• Conduct total station setting out and surveys proficiently
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and supervisory experience, leading and directing teams effectively
• Provide accurate weekly reports to the leadership team, tracking progress and demonstrating project planning
• Engage in problem-solving with consideration to multiple solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with total station setting out and surveys
• Strong knowledge of Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
• Prior experience with residential projects preferred but not required
