Its innovative and reliable solutions have been part of more than 1,600 reference projects worldwide.Find out more about HZI at www.hz-inova.com.Job DescriptionThe Site Design Coordinator role will be based in the Birmingham area and we require candidates who either reside in the area or are a reasonably commutable distance from the site.You are responsible for managing the design processes of subcontractors within the civil works on one of the HZI construction sites in liaison with the Lead Engineer Civil at the Head Office.You are responsible for the civil works to be executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time, budget, HSE and quality requirements.You are responsible for managing the design interface with external and/or in-house design teams and you pro-actively establish the design release schedule and monitor the design progress to ensure agreed target milestones are met and mitigate risk and delays.You are able evaluate the design provided by others and facilitate technically profound construction solutions with consideration to the complexity of works.You represent the civil design department when necessary at internal and external meetings with limited travelling (up to 10% of your time).You provide construction experience feedback for the current and future projects.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in civil / structural engineering or architecture with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
