RTL Group are looking for Site Agent to join a leading contractor on a major civils project in Ely!



Your key responsibilities as a Site Agent:




  • Contribute to work planning; Utilisation of Production techniques and planning tools to ensure efficient management of onsite production

  • Management of on-site supervisors, engineers, labour and subcontractors

  • Management of Health, Safety, Environment and wellbeing on site, including the preparation, approval and delivery of RAMS, SSOW, permits, site inductions and briefings with a thorough understanding of safety, environmental and quality management processes and regulations, specifically with regard to water hygiene practices.

  • Understand the site risks and opportunities and work with the team to pro-actively mitigate risks and realise opportunities

Due to locations of some of your projects, it may mean that you are required to live away from home. We are here to make this as seamless as possible, therefore we cover all accommodation costs, provide you with a daily allowance and cover travels costs (as set out in our living away from home policy)

Your required Skills and Experience




  • Proven experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, preferably with experience of working on large diameter pipelines within the water sector.

  • Understanding and experience of land entry practices.

  • Thorough understanding of commercial, contractual and procurement processes, including the NEC suite of contracts to enable effective delivery.

  • Full Manual UK driving license essential 

  • Communication skills, you’ll be passionate about optimising collaboration and be accustomed to bringing different stakeholders together to share knowledge, expertise and innovation to find the most relevant solutions
