Site Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading Doncaster based manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Site Accountant into the team. The role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the production of Monthly Management Accounts as well as business partnering with operations.

Hours of work- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

The role will be varied and will include the following duties: - 

• Be the main Finance contact for the site and work as part of the site management team
• Produce monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, journals, cash flow as part of the monthly management accounts pack
• Produce weekly profit forecasts
• Reconcile balance sheets on a monthly basis
• Month end bank account reconciliations
• Manage the sites working capital
• Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs
• Submit daily sales reports
• Approve site VAT returns for consolidation
• Post all salary related journals
• Approve purchase orders
• Produce all year end audit reports
• Assist / produce any adhoc group requirements 
• Prepare the yearly budgets
• Manage & mentor the site Accounts Assistant
• Assist in any stocktake requirements
• Attend management meetings
• Any other adhoc duties as and when required 

 To be successful you will possess the following skills and experiences: - 

• ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified 
• Manufacturing sector experience 
• SAP knowledge preferred but not essential 
• Good working knowledge of Excel 
• Business partnering experience 
• Staff management experience would be desirable
