Signalling Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Signalling Team Leader based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Our client are a key part of the UK rail infrastructure. This role involves days, nights and weekend working additional monetary uplifts are available.

Role:
The successful candidate will direct a team involved in many aspects of upkeep regarding the rail network. This includes inspection and faulting, maintenance and renewal.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish appropriate safety arrangements, ensuring workers and contractors follow safe systems of work
Proactively controlling and checking the quality of work of the team
Overseeing that assets are fully compliant and all equipment and materials are fit to purpose
Direct, organise and motivate a high performing team
Essential Requirements:
Significant working experience of organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of work
Knowledge of discipline specific maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques
Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
Desirable:
Hold or be working towards an NVQ level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject
Full UK driving license (category B)
